Please could you post the following information on your Facebook and twitter pages KGTS day is on the 23rd September; however we would like this campaign to run throughout the year and will celebrate her life in October. It would be amazing if you could post the following tweets and Facebook posts on your own accounts during October 2016 or a date that suits you.
Together we can Kiss Goodbye to Sepsis! Thankyou.
1.) Emma Straker was a 2 nd year university student, known for her trademark red lips, like most students she thought she just had a bad cold but within a matter of days she had died -the post mortem said SEPSIS. Sepsis is something that many people have never heard of but Sepsis kills 44,000 people a year.
Emma should have graduated from university this year so please help raise awareness to other students by taking part in this campaign. Do something good with your student loan, for the price of a coffee you can help raise awareness of this silent killer. All you have to do is:
Post a red-lipped selfie with the hashtag #KissGoodbyeToSepsis and text KISS45 £3 to 70070 to donate to the United Kingdom Sepsis Trust, then nominate 3 friends to do the same. Together we can #KissGoodbyeToSepsis
Your £3 will pay for 200 sepsis symptom cards which will educate 200 families. This awareness will save lives.
