Ysgol Gymraeg Santes Tudful in Merthyr Tydfil
We would like to share this amazing story with you…….. We have a member of our Executive Team, Terrence Canning, who lives and works in Wales. Terence wanted to share the story behind this amazing day.
In Terence’s words….. “I had a really nice trip to a primary school on Monday. It was really quite special. They had so much energy and excitement and even welcomed me with a welsh song (emotional it was!) The children were given a very soft assembly talk on sepsis and are doing a non uniform day Tomorrow where they are planning to dress up as superheroes etc to raise money for UK Sepsis Trust. They really are a marvellous group of children”
The lovely pictures we have show what a wonderful day
The photo is a group shot of all the children cheering and shouting ‘sepsis!’
The second is of Ava Jones.
Ava’s Nan, Karen Rees, sadly passed away and inspired this very eventful day. Ava was tasked with handing out the wristbands to the pupils.
The School is called: Ysgol Gymraeg Santes Tudful in Merthyr Tydfil.
All of us at the Trust look forward to more photographs from their non-uniform day.
Very well done to whole school and all those who supported the day!
