Halloween Fundraising

October 2020

Why not create your own fang-tastic event this Halloween and donate the proceeds to The UK Sepsis Trust? We’ve suggested some spook-tacular ideas below, or you could come up with your own frightening fundraiser to help support our life-saving work.

Fang you so much. And remember, if you’ve got it, haunt it!

Everyone loves an excuse to dress up, so why not organise your own freaky fancy dress and get people to vote for who they think is the spookiest, sartorially speaking.

And, if you’re an Amazon shopper, please don’t forget to use Amazon Smile. They will donate 0.5% of your spend to us, and it doesn’t cost you a penny more.

What about hosting a virtual Gory Games Night and asking your guests to donate an ‘entry fee’ to support our lifesaving work?

We all love judging Bake Off from our armchairs, so why not organise a virtual Halloween Bake Off party! Get your bloodiest icing ready, roll out your creepiest creations and raise funds for The UK Sepsis Trust. Invite friends to your ‘house of horrors’ and ask them to submit their spooky creations.

Why not organise a socially distanced gathering around the BBQ to share your most terrifying tales? Ask your barmy BBQ’ers to donate to The UK Sepsis Trust as their entry fee and chance to become the spookiest storyteller. Sizzlingly scary and a tasty trick or treat for all the family.

Free the artist within you and carve up a gory gourd masterpiece. Sharpen your knives, prepare your pumpkin and get to work on your breath-taking creation. You could hold a competition with friends and family in person (if you can) or online, and vote and donate for the scariest jack-o’-lantern.

If you want to be daring and go for a head shave, why not broadcast it on Zoom! Just set up a giving page and get a friendly hairdresser in full Edward Scissorhands-inspired outfit to execute the cut! Friends and family can bid to make the cut worthwhile. This is your chance to be razor sharp with your fundraising.
