• Tip: Don’t forget, you can include all of your event details directly on your giving page, such as the event date and time, entry fee to join and how they can connect to your coffee morning. That way, all of the information is in one place.

Whether it be through text, email or social media, spread the word and ask your friends, family or colleagues to join. The more people you can get involved, the better! This is a social event after all and the Coffee Morning poster below is a great way to help advertise on your social media platforms.

The hardest part about fundraising can sometimes be to simply ask for a donation. Why not ask people to make a donation to join your Virtual Coffee Morning?

• Tip: Why not incorporate other fundraising activities into your coffee morning? Old favourites like Guess the Sweets in the Jar or Name the Teddy always goes down well. If you don’t have sweets, you can always improvise; guess the pasta in the jar could work just as well! You could ask your supporters to donate £2 to make their guess, with the winner receiving a prize (you may have to write them an IOU for this).

Now for the main event; boil your kettles, get your biscuits out and away you go! Hosting a Coffee Morning will not only be a great way to raise funds for the Trust, but it’s a brilliant opportunity to raise sepsis awareness amongst your friends and family!
