Giving Tuesday has taken place in November each year for the past eight years, as a way to bring people together to support causes which are close to their hearts.
Now, the organisers of this generous day have launched #givingtuesdaynow as a response to the CoVid-19 crisis. This is a time of difficulty for everybody, including the charity sector. We’re asking you to come together in support of the UK Sepsis Trust on Tuesday 5th May for #givingtuesdaynow, by giving whatever you can to help. Whether that be a donation, taking on a fundraising activity, or simply giving your time. We have provided some useful information below on how you can help us for #givingtuesdaynow.
There are multiple ways you can make an individual donation to the Trust. You can donate on to our JustGiving campaign page, or donate directly on our website by following the link here. Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated and will truly help to make a difference!
Whether it be £5, £15, or £50, making a monthly donation to the Trust will help provide our support all year round. You can set up your regular donation by heading over to our donation page.
We completely appreciate that due to government guidelines, it’s not quite as easy at the moment to take part in the usual fundraising activities. However, there are plenty of ways you can fundraise at home! Follow the link here to discover our virtual fundraising ideas!
As with fundraising, volunteering isn’t easy to do in the current climate. If you’re unable to give a donation, why not give your time by helping us spread the word. Whether that be sharing our posts on social media, or texting or emailing your contacts, you can get involved by helping us shout about #givingtuesdaynow. Follow the link here to find out what volunteering opportunities we have.
