1st December 2019 at Sixways Stadium
Join Warriors Women and The UK Sepsis Trust in their mission to raise awareness of sepsis!
A Sepsis Awareness Day will be held at Sixways on 1st December, when Warriors Women will host Bristol Bears Women for a Tyrrells Premier 15s fixture.
The day, run in partnership with principal charity sponsor The UK Sepsis Trust, will include a range of activities, including a family fun day in the club’s new fanzone, a chance to experience StreetVelodrome - a pop-up cycling track emulating the thrill of Olympic-style racing - and a mini rugby tournament. The event will also host on-pitch entertainment, celebrity attendances and musical performances, to be confirmed.
Raising vital awareness of sepsis is not the only goal of the day, however. The event will also be aiming to set a new Tyrrells Premier 15s attendance record.
The UK Sepsis Trust will be out in force with staff, ambassadors, fundraisers and supporters in a dedicated Sepsis Lounge on the day. Here you can learn more about the Trust’s charitable objectives and fundraising opportunities for 2020. You can also find out about their most recent campaign Schools against Sepsis.
Tickets are just £5. Buy yours now to help both the club and the Trust make a difference!
Companies will also be actively encouraged to support the day with a host of hospitality packages, advertising and business networking opportunities available.
