Next steps

You’ve only gone and done it! Congratulations – you’re officially a fundraising hero.
When you’ve finished celebrating your success, there are a few quick and easy things you need to do.
1. SHARE YOUR STORY

You’ve helped save lives – now you need to tell people about it! If you haven’t already, share your story on social media to let everyone who donated know how you got on and give yourself a big pat on the back. By sharing your story, you might even inspire others to fundraise for UKST too…

2. GET IN TOUCH

We always love to see our fundraisers in action! If you took any photos and you’re happy for us to share them, just fill in the form below.

3. PAY IN YOUR FUNDRAISING
Once your fundraising is complete, there are a number of ways to donate to the UK Sepsis Trust.

How you’re helping: Keeley’s story

After losing her sister Katie to sepsis in 2025, Keeley struggled to manage her grief. She felt overwhelmed and struggled to continue with daily life.

That’s when she decided to take part in our Edu-Therapy programme. Faciliated by one of our Support Nurses, Edu-Therapy is a pyschological programme designed to help those who have experienced significant loss as a result of sepsis.

“For the first time, I felt seen in the middle of my pain. I’m still healing, and I know grief doesn’t follow a timeline. But the programme helped me find stability when everything felt unstable. It is helping me rebuild confidence, regain control over my daily life, and reconnect with the part of myself that believed I could move forward. It hasn’t erased the loss, but it gave me the strength to live with it – and that has made all the difference.”
