Jason & Clara: In Memory of Maudie

UK Sepsis Trust Ambassador, Jason Watkins, features in a new documentary about the death of his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Maude, who he so tragically lost to sepsis in 2011.

‘The Catch’ and ‘Line of Duty’ star, and wife Clara Francis, tell their story in ‘Jason & Clara: In Memory of Maudie’ which will be broadcast on ITV1 on Thursday 30th March 2023 at 9pm.

We couldn’t be more grateful to Jason & Clara who have worked closely and tirelessly with us over many years to raise awareness of this condition that devastatingly altered their family’s life forever. Sepsis is often referred to as the ‘silent killer’, as it claims more lives each year than bowel, prostate and breast cancer combined.

BAFTA award-winner Jason also appears in our Sepsis Savvy video, which we launched in conjunction with our lead partner, Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation, to help educate people and put an end to preventable deaths.
