Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that arises when the body’s response to an infection injures its own tissues and organs. This module provides a basic overview of the condition and how it presents and includes video case studies.
It is recommended for all clinicians, health workers and anyone interested in learning more about sepsis.
On successful completion of the assessment at the end of the module, you will be able to download a UK Sepsis Trust certificate. On completing this module, you may wish to continue your learning with our specialist modules; Sepsis: A Careworker’s Guide, Sepsis in Adults, Sepsis in Children.
For organisations wishing to host this content on their own Learning Management System, this module can be provided in SCORM or TinCan/xAPI format. For further details, please request a quote using the Contact page.
