Santa Run 2017 Come & join us for a merry day

Thousands of Santas will be flocking to Victoria Park in December in a bid to raise funds for their charity of choice, in the ‘Do it for Charity Santa Run'. Now is the time to sign up and raise funds for the UK Sepsis Trust! Please join our team of merry Santas who are helping us to continue the fight against sepsis.

You can run, jog or walk – the event is about taking part and not about winning. Buggies and prams are very much welcome if you decide to run with a small elf.

Before the main event begins, there will be a mini-run of 200 metres for participants below the age of eight. Registering is not required.

Birmingham International Marathon

Be part of this inaugural event and run for the UK Sepsis Trust. The 26.2-mile event will be the inaugural run of the newly formed Great Run British Marathon Series and will start at Alexander stadium, the home of British Athletics. The course will take in a number of the city’s most iconic landmarks before finishing in the city centre.

Whether it's for the challenge or just for the fun of it, the event, which will be staged on the same day as the well-established Great Birmingham Run half marathon, will be a notable occasion on the athletics calendar.

We will have a stand to welcome you all and some extra treats to make the run a special event just for you. Join us and be one of the first to run this magnificent course.

You can cycle from anywhere throughout the UK with the finish line now in our home town Birmingham everyone will arrive outside at an extra special event in Victoria square Birmingham..... Your welcome will be worth every mile travelled.

So its time to grab your bike and join us – we all like to achieve personal goals and this is one to test you to your limits. Now into its 5th year, Cycle 4 Sepsis is a huge awareness raising and fundraising event.

Start from your chosen location....... Finishing at 2pm Sunday 3rd September in the wonderful and historic Victoria Square Birmingham.

This is a team event so please try and encourage friends and colleagues to take up the challenge.

It is guaranteed to be a great weekend event for all the family - so do come for the weekend & cheer your loved ones over the finishing line.

It is a unique event that will see teams of cyclists from all over the country cycle from their home towns to Birmingham via a planned route.

Setting off from your home town this 2 day event (possibly longer depending on location), is one that you will never forget and one that you will want to take part in year after year.

Upon finishing in Birmingham we have a few surprises, a grand reception - after all a challenge of this scale deserves the best.

Protected: The GREAT NORTH RUN

Starting in Newcastle upon Tyne the 13.1 mile route takes runners through the city centre towards the River Tyne where thousands of people will cross over the iconic Tyne Bridge, where if you're lucky, you might get a glimpse of the Red Arrows passing overhead.
From there runners will travel through Gateshead while being entertained many bands on the run. The route, lined by thousands of supporters, leads runners to South Shields where at the top of Prince Edward Road the view of the sea is one of the most welcoming sights along the whole course.
From that point there is just over a mile to go and the crowds get louder as runners make their way down the final straight towards the finish gantry.

The Snowdon trek in the heart of Snowdonia, North Wales comprises breathtaking, rugged scenery and rewarding trekking for those who take on this one day charity challenge!

Join us as we trek to the top of Wales to conquer Mount Snowdon at an elevation of 3,560ft. Our trail to the summit is the Pyg Track, which starts at the top of Pen y Pass and rises steadily with the imposing Crib Goch directly above. As the path gradually rises we are privy to amazing views down to Glaslyn far below. We continue to zig zag up until reaching the monolith which opens up dramatic views as far as Anglesey; from here it’s just a short walk to the summit.

After congratulations all round and the obligatory celebration photos at the summit, we start our descent on the Llanberis Path. Although this is the longest in distance, it is a gradual descent, so easy going underfoot after the strenuous climb up to the summit and we are treated to the most stunning views as we wind our way down to Llanberis for our celebration meal!

From the rocky cliffs and pounding seas of Land’s End, through the rolling hills of Dartmoor, through the stunning mountains of the Lake District and along the Lochs of Great Glen to our finish line at the Northernmost point of the UK mainland, LEJOG will test you to your limits, but it is the most fabulous way to see the UK and one of the biggest achievements you are every likely to accomplish!

Challenge yourself to trek for charity along 25 miles of Hadrian’s Wall – one wall, one epic charity challenge in just one weekend!

Hadrian’s Wall was built in AD122 on the orders of the Roman Emperor Hadrian, and stretched from the East to West coasts of Britain, from Bowness on Solway in the West to Wallsend in the East.

This most ancient of charity treks takes us from Lanercost Priory to Brocolitia, encompassing some fascinating ruins. It is the most remarkable Roman monument in the country, and quite unique throughout the former Empire. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site – which cuts through Northumberland National Park, Hadrian’s Wall attracts trekkers from all over, as it offers great challenging walks, filled with a stunning backdrop and history. It’s a perfect location for charity challenges in the UK sector of fundraising events.
