Are you eager to make a difference whilst learning a new skill? UK Sepsis Trust (UKST) invites you to join our 20 Minutes of Yoga a Day in August Challenge!
Sepsis is a serious condition that affects 245,000 people every year in the UK, but together, we can raise awareness and support those in need. By dedicating just 20 minutes of your day to yoga throughout August, you’ll not only enhance your own well-being but also contribute to our vital mission.
By joining our yoga fundraising challenge, you’ll become part of a supportive community dedicated to saving lives from sepsis. Together, we’ll inspire each other, share our progress, and make a meaningful impact.
We can’t wait to welcome you to #YogaTeamUKST!
Participants are challenged to complete 20 minutes of yoga each day in August.

Yoga promotes gentle physical activity which can aid in rebuilding strength and flexibility. It incorporates breathing exercises and relaxation techniques, which can help reduce stress and anxiety. Plus, you’ll learn a new skill!
A fundraising page that can be created and shared through Facebook.
You can take part where you like – whether that’s at home, in the park or on holiday! Wherever works for you.
Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, yoga is inclusive and adaptable. Everyone can participate, regardless of age, ability, or fitness level.
If you’ve officially registered (click here if you haven’t!) and you’ve received your first donation, we’ll send you a t-shirt & A4 tracker. Please note that t-shirts will be dispatched twice a week and delivery can take between 5-8 working days.
When registering for the challenge, you’ll be given the option to set up a Facebook or JustGiving page (or both!). Please email virtualevents@sepsistrust.org if you have any questions.
All donations kindly made to your Facebook or JustGiving fundraiser will be sent automatically to the UK Sepsis Trust.
Please don’t be disheartened, the most important thing is that you challenged yourself and raised vital awareness of sepsis amongst your family and friends on Facebook.
We trust you! Although you don’t need to provide evidence to us in anyway, make sure to keep your friends and family up to date on Facebook and post photos of your fabulous yoga poses in the Facebook group (if you’re happy to do so)! You can also use your A4 tracker to update your progress through the month.
If you do have questions or comments, please email virtualevents@sepsistrust.org
