Join UKST and climb the highest freestanding mountain in the world!
Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent, standing at 5869m. Its snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains; massive permanent glaciers flow down from the summit, and spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the rewards for pushing your limits physically and mentally.
This 11-day trek which follows the beautiful Machame Route, approaching Kilimanjaro from the south. The route has been designed to allow for gradual acclimatisation to the altitude and you’ll be supported by highly trained leaders and medics the whole time. Not only will your challenge raise vital funds to help us continue our lifesaving work, but you’ll also finish with a huge sense of achievement as you conquer one of the toughest treks out there.
