SUPPORT & CONNECT GROUPS
Our groups offer a relaxed, informal environment where you can join others with a shared experience.
ONLINE
SUPPORT & CONNECT GROUPS
Facilitated by our dedicated Support Nurses, these Zoom meetings are designed to bring people together who are navigating similar journeys. We offer specialised groups for those recovering from sepsis and for those who have tragically lost someone to this condition.
These sessions are built on the principle of peer support, where shared experiences create a foundation for mutual understanding, emotional support, and practical advice. Whether you’re seeking solace or simply want to connect with others who “get it,” our online groups can be a valuable part of your recovery or grieving process.
How to join an online group
If you haven’t joined a group before, we encourage people to first speak with one of our Support Nurses. They can provide a little more information about the groups and help to answer any questions that might be better suited to a 1-2-1 situation. You can get in touch with our Support Nurses here.
If you’ve previously joined a group, we’d love to hear about your experience by completing our quick 2-minute survey here.

Facebook Support & Connect Groups
Our online support extends to Facebook, where we host two dedicated peer support groups: one for those recovering from sepsis and another for those who have lost a loved one to sepsis. These groups are moderated by our Support Nurses between 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), offering a space to share, seek advice, or simply connect with others who understand.
Please note, these groups are intended for individuals aged 18 and over.
FACE2FACE
SUPPORT & CONNECT GROUPS
After careful consideration, we have decided to pause our Face2Face Support Groups for the time being. This pause will allow us to review the delivery model and ensure our governance is as strong, safe, and sustainable as possible for the future. Importantly, we’re doing this review to ensure we can keep supporting people effectively and responsibly over the long term, and at scale.
We will keep you updated with any future developments. Many thanks for your understanding.
