We would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to GAMA Healthcare for their continued support of The UK Sepsis Trust. GAMA, who produce medical infection control and prevention products, have worked tirelessly to raise awareness of sepsis, most recently by taking on two incredible fundraising challenges!

Firstly, we’d like to thank and congratulate Stephen O’Connor, who completed this year’s London Marathon (despite a hamstring injury at mile 20!) in 4 hours and 53 minutes, raising over £10,000 for the charity thanks to incredibly generous sponsorship from the company.

In addition to Stephen’s achievement, employees from GAMA’s UK offices in Hemel Hempstead and Halifax were joined virtually by their colleagues from Foshan in China for a 5km walk! The walkers raised much needed awareness of sepsis and significant funds to allow us to continue in our fight to save lives, and we’re so grateful!

Partnering with GAMA is an energising and exciting experience, and we look forward to continuing our inspiring relationship working together in the fight against severe infection and sepsis. Thank you from us all at UK Sepsis Trust.
