UKST to attend Revealing the Burden of Sepsis conference in Paris

13 August 2024
UKST are delighted to be presenting at the Revealing the Burden of Sepsis conference, which takes place at the CESE Paris and online on the 9th September, during sepsis awareness month.

This patient-driven event will bring together international sepsis communities to highlight the profound impact of sepsis on patients, survivors, and grieving families.

Discussions will cover testimonials from sepsis survivors and families, how to increase awareness globally and the best diagnostic and clinical practices.

UKST Founder and Joint CEO Dr Ron Daniels and Lead Support Nurse Oliver Jones will be representing UKST.

Dr Ron Daniels said: “I’m delighted to be attending the Revealing the Burden of Sepsis conference, which promises to be a great opportunity to explore good sepsis practice across Europe, and discuss needs for both clinicians and families in improving patient outcomes and dealing with Post-Sepsis Syndrome (PSS)”.

Sessions include talks on awareness and visibility, aftercare for families and relatives, and long sepsis, or ‘Post Sepsis Syndrome’.

There is still time to register your interest for the event, which can be accessed both in-person and online.
